that if you've been waiting for things to 'settle down' before you hire a coach, start a fitness journey, start taking control of your eating etc..

you're insinuating that once things ramp up again, your healthy habits will be the first thing to go

life is always going to be busy, a bit stressful.. a little hectic perhaps

but building healthy, sustainable habits will make your life easier, not more challenging 🫶

i'm truly blessed in saying that my client retention is pretty air-tight, therefore it's only on the rare occasion that i have space to add someone to the roster.

this morning, i did my second interval jog as part of my post-concussion rehabilitation

2:1 rest/work ||| 60 sec walk / 30 sec jog
10 cycles, 5 mins of jogging total
approximately 18 minutes
just shy of 2km

with. no. *major*. increase. in. symptoms.

👏👏👏

this might read like literally nothing,
but i promise you,
this is big stuff.

it's been over two months since i've felt this excited about movement ~ recognizing that this whole process is typically two steps forward, one step back ~ i'll take this win gently & continue upwards & onwards

now to celebrate with a trip to the rmt,
& then a big afternoon basking at the river like a lizard under a heat lamp 🦎☀️

there's so much sludge out there overcomplicating what it means to be 'successful in the gym' - regardless of your goals & intentions

GROUP FITNESS
🦋 i've made the tough decision to *not* launch one last series for my Guts, Glutes & Glory + Cardio Core classes ••
having that extra 4 hrs of afternoon space will hopefully make it easier for me to consistently be in physical therapies for a quicker, more efficient recovery 🤞

🦋 our Foundations of Health Challenge crew are killiiiinnnngggg it - SO much fun to witness!!

🦋 AWC virtual crew are working hard & getting results 💪 as per usual

physically, we're at home having an ultra productive weekend •• getting our spring challengers all ready for tomorrow's start

as well as putting the finishing touches on our upcoming workshop, 'Build Your Own Fitness Program' - which is this Tuesday!

as well as FINALLY getting our starters going & getting our peas, carrots & leafy greens into the ground

as well as soaking up as many sun rays as we possibly can ☀️

BUT, my heart is headed to Tofino
pretty sure it's been a year since we were in the water
so i'm getting super excited about tentative plans to head to the west, early may

until then, we're busy at work
& gardening
& hitting goals
& enjoying life on the home front
