LONGHORNS WIN AND WILL PLAY FOR GOLD AT 5

Dakota Mccomb threw a shutout to lead Chatsworth Longhorns past Wilmot Thunder 9-0 on Sunday.

Chatsworth Longhorns was boosted by Ethan Tombs who went 4-for-4 at the plate. Tombs singled in the first, homered in the third, homered in the fourth, and singled in the sixth.

Chatsworth Longhorns tallied four runs in the sixth inning. Chatsworth Longhorns big bats were led by Mikey Walker, Alex Mcgillivray, Nolan Myers, and Joseph Weiler, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Mccomb got the start for Chatsworth Longhorns. The pitcher allowed five hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out eight and walking zero.

Chatsworth Longhorns socked three home runs on the day. Tombs put one out in the third and fourth innings. Connor Paige had a dinger in the fifth inning.

Chatsworth Longhorns scattered 14 hits in the game. Tombs, Paige, Weiler, and Walker all managed multiple hits for Chatsworth Longhorns. Tombs went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Chatsworth Longhorns in hits.

Longhorns beat Saskatoon 9-5 and finished 2nd in the round robin. We have earned a double life in the playoffs, and will play Wilmot at 8:30 CST for a trip to the finals.

Chatsworth Longhorns easily did away with Napanee Express 10-3 on Friday

Chatsworth Longhorns opened up scoring in the first inning, when Mikey Walker doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Joseph Weiler was credited with the victory for Chatsworth Longhorns. The fireballer went six innings, allowing three runs on six hits and striking out four.

Chatsworth Longhorns racked up 11 hits in the game. Owen Hartwick, Weiler, Nolan Myers, and Alex Mcgillivray all collected multiple hits for Chatsworth Longhorns. Mcgillivray, Myers, Weiler, and Hartwick all had two hits to lead Chatsworth Longhorns.
