Single dad, grandfather, son, brother, back belt, coach, academy owner, recovering alcoholic and drug addict
•
For those who don't know my past, I struggled most of my young adult life with substance abuse ( alocolhol & drugs)
I lost 10 years of my life and countless number of friends to opioid addiction
•
There's this cliché saying " jiu-jitsu saved my life "
When I got clean off opiates I started training jiu-jitsu and 13 years later at 50 years old I'm clean, sober, I own my own academy and in the best shape of my life!!!
•
Jiu-jitsu not only gave me my life back, it's given me some of my best friends and couldn't be more grateful for the people I've surrounded myself with!!!
