WE’RE BACK WITH ANOTHER HEALTHPLEX HOEDOWN!

Get ready to two-step, line dance and have a whole lotta fun! Join Abbie on September 22nd at 6pm for a FREE line dancing class at the HealthPlex! Members and non-members are welcome, and no experience is necessary - just bring yourself and your best dance moves!

We will also be collecting donations for the TSI Food Bank, so if you’re able, bring along a non-perishable food item to help support our community. Although this is a free event, pre-registration is required. Book your spot on our app, give us a call or stop by Member Services to book your spot today!

🌟Member of The Month : Donna🌟

For almost four years, Donna has shown us what it truly means to make fitness a part of your life.

You can find her in just about every class - from Rush to GGG, mornings, evenings and sometimes even both. She has built a routine that goes far beyond simply working out. It’s a commitment to herself, her journey and continuing to show up for herself day after day.

And that’s what makes Donna so special. She doesn’t only show up on the days when it’s easy. Even when she has to drag herself through the doors, she still gives it everything she has. Because she knows that sometimes, just getting here is the hardest part and she always leaves feeling better for it.

Donna’s consistency, determination and dedication are incredible examples of what it means to make movement and fitness a true part of your lifestyle.

We’re so grateful to have her as part of our Healthplex community. Congratulations Donna!

How to play:
•Register at the Fitness Centre Desk
•Log your minutes before & after every workout

The participant with the most active minutes will take home a 10-meal bundle provided by Macro Foods!

🌟Member of the Month: Dan🌟

If you’ve ever been in the Fitness Centre first thing in the morning, chances are you’ve met Dan. You always know when he’s in the building because he’s got everyone smiling, the staff laughing with a new joke or funny story and he’s already brightened someone’s day before the sun is fully up.

Dan has lived an active lifestyle for as long as he can remember. From competing in track and field as a kid to growing up in a family that was always on the move, staying active has always been a part of who he is. Now retired, starting his mornings at the gym is a routine he wouldn’t trade. It gets him out of bed, leaves him feeling better than when he arrived and sets the tone for the rest of his day.

His love of activity has been passed down to his son, who also enjoys playing a variety of sports. For Dan, being active has never just been about fitness - it’s about bringing people together and creating connections.

We’re grateful to have someone like Dan in our community. His positivity, kindness and sense of humour make the HealthPlex a better place every single morning.

Join us for Abbie’s HealthPlex Hoedown on Tuesday, July 7th at 6pm! This event is open to both members and non-members, so feel free to bring a guest-but don’t wait too long, as pre-registration is required. We will also be collecting donations for CK Animal Rescue, so if you’re able, please consider bringing an item to support the animals in their care. Stop by Member Services or contact us to reserve your spot. We can’t wait to see you there!
