We’re going bowling 🎳

🗓️ Saturday October 3

📍 Chatham Bowlerama; 100 Keil Dr S

Shoe rentals, pizza and pop will be provided for swimmers and we invite all parents to stick around in the party room of Bowlerama for the first 15-20 minutes for a short info session on the upcoming season!

Q: What’s the biggest lesson swimming teaches young athletes?
A: Commitment and personal results from said commitment

Q: What makes a great swimmer beyond talent?
A: DESIRE and COMMITMENT

Q: How do you motivate swimmers after a tough race?
A: Tell them you CARE. Share in the win 🥇 Share in the loss

Q: What makes this team special?
A: Naivety!!! No true understanding of how good they can be

Q: As we enter a new season, what are you most proud of this past season?
A: Incredibly high "pb" rate! Every single swimmer IMPROVED their times DRAMATICALLY

Q: How has the team grown over the past year?
A: Starting to BECOME COMPETITIVE SWIMMERS!!! In every aspect..... attitude, attendance, nutrition, land training, education, and EFFORT

Q: Which practice set do swimmers complain about the most?
A: Haha BUTTERFLY

Q: What’s your favourite motivational phrase?
A: Get comfortable being UNcomfortable

Q: If you had to swim one event today, which would you choose?
A: 5m freestyle..... yes you read that right. I think I can compete with anyone for 5 METERS!! lol

Q: One thing every swimmer should remember before they race.
A: TRUST THE PROCESS
All I "ask" is EFFORT ON RACE DAY
All I "demand" is effort at practice.
