We're finishing the summer with another 6-week Intro Course!

Starting August 23rd, you'll learn the basics of wielding one-handed blades such as sabre, rapier, and smallsword. By the end of the course, you'll be able to safely practice with more experienced members and join the main class.

No experience required!

📍 Location: 35 Fitzroy St, Charlottetown (St. James Presbyterian Church)
🕒 Time: Sundays, 3:30–4:30 PM
💲 Cost: $100

Due to last minute issues with our intro instructor’s availability, he was unable to be at the church until a few minutes after the start of the class.

We apologize for the inconvenience and will not only provide a makeup for that class but will also extend our intro course duration an extra hour to provide additional instruction.

No regular classes today due to the holiday. As a reminder, we extended the ongoing intro course an extra couple of weeks and Thursdays still act as makeup classes.

We'll be presenting a demo today at the Atlantic Entertainment Expo!

No classes today due to instructor availability issues but we'll run a makeup class Thursday. We will also be extending our current intro course by two weeks.

The first day of our intro course went great! We learned some of the basics of footwork and sword handling.

Make up class is today at 7:30pm. If you’re curious about it or might be interested in joining the next intro, feel free to drop by!

Charlottetown is where Maritime Sword School started . It was great to visit the group there! Their next intro starts March the 1st, the same date the newest Moncton intro starts!

Looking for something fun to do while learning a new skill?

Maritime Sword School Charlottetown is excited to announce our first Intro Course of the year, starting Sunday, March 1st.

Over 6 weeks, you’ll learn proper technique, footwork, and etiquette for one-handed weapons such as the sabre, rapier, and smallsword—beginner-friendly and hands-on. Can’t make it to the first class? No problem—make-up classes are available on Thursdays at 7:30 PM.
