Gypsum Mine Trail/Sentier de la Mine de Plâtre A community multipurpose trail. Many years ago this trail was a railroad track leading to Chéticamp's Gypsum Mine, a huge part of the village's history.

ATTENTION!

There will be brushcutting going on in the gypsum mines trail tomorrow therefore we ask to please warn users to be extra careful if using the trail and avoid the area if possible.

Please share with tourist/guests in the area!

"15 & 15"

15 minutes from the parking lot... and 15 minutes back.
One of the nicest "short hikes" in the area and only within 10 minutes from the house. 😎

Before I close down for the day....... one more frame extraction. Often I'll pause the video and switch over to "stills mode" but when I don't, I can always pull a frame and process that if I find one that simply calls out to me.

I think often we get lost in the popular images (with the water filled mine as an example) and neglect the rest of the landscape which is also deserving of a little love. 🙂
