Looking for outdoorsy people!

Steamboat Alley is looking for staff for our upcoming summer season in York.

If you enjoy working in nature and near the water then this where you want to be!

We will be operating Thursday-Monday and are looking for part-time and full time staff.

This is a perfect position for high school and college students!

An adventure begins, Kayaking from York to Cayuga this group will paddle through the braided islands. What will they see? Spotting turtles, beavers, and eagles are common here!

After the braided islands they'll paddle past the historic Ruthven Mansion and stop for a picnic under one of the two abandoned rail bridges.

After their trip they'll likely continue the adventure on one of the local trails, or they'll go for some lunch and a well deserved rest at one of the local restaurants.

There’s something special about this summer at Steamboat Alley. ☀️🛶

Every day we get to see families laughing, friends reconnecting, and first-timers finding their rhythm on the water. The joy is contagious whether it’s a quiet morning paddle or a full-on group float with lots of horsing around!

Honestly, we’re just grateful. Grateful to be part of so many good days. Grateful for all the folks who’ve come through and made this little river spot come alive.

We love what we do and we’re just getting started.
