Are you a dreamer?
Do you think about your future? Is your vision clear?


A friend of mine asked me what my dreams were recently and I was taken aback! I always used to write down what I hoped and dreamed for. I prided myself on being a forward thinker. I had post it notes all over my house to remind me, journals, I talked about my dreams daily. How did I become so complacent suddenly?!


Today it ends. I'm writing my new vision out. Plastering it all over my life, and telling anyone who will listen. What you focus on, you find. Let's get focused!!!!

Don't let your struggles define you.

It's hard - I get it!

I'm currently finding healthy ways to cope and make changes. I thought I'd share them in hopes they might inspire some of you to try them!

1) I start my day by drinking my coffee and reading a personal development book. This helps me get into a positive mindset right away!

2) I'm taking baths when I feel anxious. I put a few drops of my lavender essential oil in, and just sit.

3) I'm moving my body! We all know endorphins make you happy...so take that knowledge and just DO IT. Whether it's a HIIT workout on the treadmill or a walk on the seawall, it all counts! 😁

This particular client I am SO proud of! When he came to me, he had hit a plateau in his results and was feeling frustrated. He wanted to put on more muscle and wasn't sure where to start.

We worked together for 3 months on a progressive training plan and made some small nutritional adjustments. Together we were able to put on 8lbs in just 12 weeks! 👏👏👏

IT'S TIME!

I'm over "living my best life" and eating like an as***le. I'm over not getting enough sleep. I'm over skipping my workout because hanging out with friends sounds like more fun.

This is my current physique. Raw. No filters, no make up. (Sorry Instagram, not everything is perfect and pretty). Weighing in at a high of 130lbs. There is nothing wrong with it. It's mine and I own it. That being said... I know what it's capable of. I know how strong it is. I know what it feels like when it's loved and taken care of.

So I'm committing to a 16 week lifestyle transformation (WOAH, not prepping for show?!). I'm developing a progressive 16 week workout program and of course following a flexible diet. I know nutrition is going to be 80% responsible for the results I get.

The Tzone Natural Championship's are coming up. I was supposed to be competing in this show and it's really hitting home now that I'm officially not competing this year.


Competing takes up your whole world and you have to be 110% committed to it (yes, not 100% - MORE). My world was flipped upside down this year and prep slipped through my grasp. I couldn't give it what it deserves, to be my best.


I preach about being happy first, and then healthy because the two go hand and hand. You can't have one without the other. Life is a whirl wind of flipping back and forth. Especially when you struggle with mental health. I had it under control for a long time but now I remember... I remember what it's like to be a "client".

If you overload yourself, you will be let down and feel discouraged. My tip to those struggling with health and happiness - pick ONE goal at a time to focus on. Once that goal becomes part of your lifestyle, move on to the next. It doesn't matter how long it takes.

My clients and I set weekly, attainable goals to work towards and don't move on until they're crushed. A personal trainer is not just someone to tell you "how to workout". Off the record... they are a life coach, mentor, therapist, chef, cheerleader, mother, disciplinary, marriage counselor, accountability partner, word of reason, the real talk you can't handle, your worst enemy, shoulder to cry on and most of all your best friend.

I never would have been able to become my happiest and healthiest self without one.

This picture is to remind me and all of you that your wildest dreams are all in your hands. You can do anything, and have anything in this world if are dedicated, work hard and ask for the help you need...are you ready?
