REMINDER of our upcoming registration and gear swap on Wednesday, Sept. 30!!!

We are asking parents and caregivers to attend a meeting @ 3:45 to go over the season expectations and upcoming events.

Remember to bring back your borrowed equipment so you can swap it for new sizes that you might need!

Lots of exciting things coming up, hockey fans!!! (Also, long post alert!)

Registration for the season AND an equipment swap will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 4:30-7:00 p.m. Come on by before or after you enjoy the community dinner for Truth and Reconciliation Day!

We hope that ice will be ready for a FUNSKATE first hockey session on October 1st, and practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays again this season.

2027 YUKON CHAMPIONSHIPS dates have been announced so book your hotels early!
- U9 hosted by Whitehorse Minor Hockey - Jan. 8-10, 2027
- U11 hosted by Dawson City Minor Hockey - Feb. 12-14, 2027
- U13 hosted by Watson Lake Minor Hockey - Jan. 29-31, 2027
- U15 Jamboree hosted by Haines Junction Minor Hockey - dates TBD

Reminder that this is happening tomorrow! I have a handful of hi-vis vests but it would be great if kids and helping adults could wear orange hoodies/shirts or neon colours (I know you have them!) to be safe and seen. Or if you have hi-vis stuff at home, bring it with you! See you tomorrow in the Rec parking lot!

U13 Tournament this weekend in Dawson!

Dawson City, come on out and pack the stands! The U13 Yukon Hockey Championships are here this weekend!! Bring your family and friends (and your noise makers!) and let’s show these players what Dawson City support sounds like!! 🥅🏒🤩📣💥
There will be a silent auction, Chuck-a-puck and DCMHA merch available!! See you at the rink!

How exciting!!! Great work Yambi Knights!! 💪🏼🥳

Last weekend DCMHA sent some players down to Watson to join with the Carmacks kids in the U11 Yukon Champs!
Some highlights and memories from the weekend:
Aven sealed a win by scoring in the final second of their first game! The team built connections with the Carmacks players and enjoyed team bonding through bowling and shared dinners. They celebrated winning two games! Throughout the weekend, players also stepped into new positions, gaining confidence and valuable experience both on and off the ice!
