Rosemary Breman School of Dance Rosemary Breman School of Dance opened in 1982, to provide high quality dance training to ages 3+. We also offer a dance recital very year.

The Rosemary Breman School of Dancing opened its doors in the fall of 1982, to provide high quality training to people of all ages living in Carleton Place, Almonte and surrounding areas. The dance school operates on a very high standard grade system, and students who have reached the required standard may take examinations each year. We believe every student deserves special treatment and we enco

urage more serious students to pursue careers in dance. The dance studio at 50 Bennett Street (Carleton Place) offers a warm and friendly atmosphere. The dance classes are well structured, and students gain a sense of achievement as they progress from one level to the next. Our school is not a competition school, other than in Highland Dancing, as we prefer to concentrate on training students for examinations, scholarships and obtaining professional qualifications. Our dancers do “dance outs” for local organizations, hospitals, schools and senior citizen’s homes.

What a weekend at OHDA February Competition!

We kicked things off Saturday at the Highland competition and our dancers absolutely shined. Their hard work and dedication truly paid off. So much success across the board and we couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them.

Sunday brought the choreography competition
🥇 Our Junior group took 1st place
🥈 Our Senior group earned an incredible 2nd place
🏅Olivia Hastie came 5th in her solo

To watch these dancers support each other, circle up before hitting the stage, and leave it all out there is what it’s all about. The teamwork, sportsmanship, and heart they showed made this weekend even more special than the medals and trophies.

So proud of our dancers for representing with confidence, strength, and class. The future is so bright for this crew!
