One of the things people are often surprised by is just how approachable whitewater rafting can be.

Our tours run through Grade 2–3 rapids, which means you get all the fun parts: fast-moving water, big splashes, exciting waves, and plenty of adrenaline, without needing any previous rafting experience. It’s the sweet spot between family-friendly and genuinely exciting.

It also gives our guides the ability to mix in some of the signature White Wolf moments, including “surfing” for groups looking for an extra thrill along the way.

White Wolf is the only rafting company in the Bow Valley that includes this on tour, and it’s always a crowd favourite. Equal parts adrenaline, big splash, and controlled chaos.

“What do I need to bring?” is probably one of the questions we get asked most often. The good news: not much. We’ll get you fully geared up with everything you need for the river, from wetsuits and booties to helmets, paddles, and the raft itself. You definitely don’t need to own any rafting gear to have an amazing day out here.

As for your packing list? Think simple. A bathing suit, towel, and a bag for your things are the essentials. Beyond that, it’s all about your comfort level. Maybe that means a hoodie for after the river, sunglasses for the sunshine, or sunscreen for those long summer days in the Bow Valley.

And yes, we’ll even send you home with professional photos after your tour, so you can stay in the moment instead of worrying about bringing your camera along for the ride.
