His knitting journey connected fans with training, racing and the Olympic experience in a way that was authentic, unexpected and uniquely Adam.

Athletes came together for a weekend of exciting racing, great competition, and community as they kicked off the summer biathlon season.

A great day at the Canmore Nordic Centre welcoming Canada's Secretary of State for Sport, Adam van Koeverden, in partnership with Nordiq Canada.

Rollerskiing and hitting clean targets, Adam experienced biathlon firsthand.

Conversation included Biathlon Canada's work advancing the Government of Canada's priorities to Build, Host, Perform, Protect, and Participate. From growing grassroots participation through our electronic biathlon program to updating the LTAD framework and modernizing operations, Biathlon Canada is building a stronger future for the sport across the country.

Une journée formidable au Centre nordique de Canmore, où nous avons accueilli le secrétaire d’État canadien chargé des Sports, Adam van Koeverden, en partenariat avec Nordiq Canada.

Entre ski à roulettes et tirs précis, Adam a pu découvrir le biathlon par lui-même.

La conversation a notamment porté sur le travail de Biathlon Canada visant à faire avancer les priorités du gouvernement du Canada : « Construire, Accueillir, Performer, Protéger et Participer ». Qu’il s’agisse de développer la participation à la base grâce à notre programme de biathlon électronique, de mettre à jour le cadre du DLTA ou de moderniser nos opérations, Biathlon Canada bâtit un avenir plus solide pour ce sport à travers tout le pays.
