R2AK 2026 - Agile Racing Agile Racing consists of Richard Smeenk, David Gauci, and Cooper Smeenk and a host of fine sponsors and partners.

On June 14, 2026, Team Agile Racing will embark on the ultimate on the water adventure race, the “Race To Alaska”, aka, the R2AK.

It was a slow day but we think we’ve made a huge move in getting out to open water. It set us back many positions but let’s see to what happens by morning.

Another slow day and it’s a close call to make it thru Active Pass before the tide turns at 8:30. So we’re gonna get out into the Strait (open water)south of Saturns instead as the flood ends at 9:45 pm there.
