Congrats to Glen Finnson who was our Athlete of the Year for 2025! 👏💪 This guy has been a consistent grinder through all our our workouts every single day and every single year since he started with us back in 2021. He has attended every challenge thrown his way from extreme Fridays, Half Marathon Rows, Ultimate Fridays and even traveling across the country to compete in Spartan events where he has gone first in his age category for 10km + 21km races. Glen has a super contagious positive energy and attitude at every single class he attends.
This is what he had to say:
“I started boot camp at Elevate when I first moved to Campbell River in 2021. From the start, I found the classes challenging and “fun”. The fun part comes from the positive energy of the class as well as the variability and leadership from John Stevenson. I have continually been challenged and look forward to classes always. The classes have progressed over the years and I find them progressively challenging. Thank you John for the continued support in helping us all reach our fitness goals and creating a healthy environment for all to grow and enjoy.”
