This is the second evolution of protective safety eyewear that was supplied or issued to participants at Flag Raiders circa 1986/7ish. The UVEX 9300 safety goggle, originally used for chemical applications, the 9300 offered adjustable straps and marginally more protection than safety glasses, they had a tendency to fog we alleviated that by using a leather punch to make vent holes on the top and bottom. The UVEX did have an ANSI rating of 87.1, masks or face protection had not yet been invented for the masses. What do you think?
