Another throwback here to 2020 pre shutdown

It’s crazy looking back to see how much I’ve grown (those 2020 arms are 🫣) but also how some things stay the exact same 🤸🏻‍♀️

Hahahaha I’m not perfect. My body rolls aren’t the best. It doesn’t stop me from doing them but I know what I’m not good at 😂 so why not take that specific time to let my students have fun with it?

But for real, it is SUPER important to let your students take the reign and have their moment. Their moment where they are not on autopilot, watching you. Giving the spotlight gives an “oh crap, the teacher is watching” moment 😂 but of course, in a fun, not scary way (at least for most 😅)

Do not feel cute, will probably delete later 🥲

I’ve had this video idea for a few weeks now since I reintroduced this song back into my class. But looking at today’s footage… my mind went YIKES.

Trying to find my “pink” back 1.5 years postpartum is really proving to be more difficult than I thought.
This is also one of the biggest reasons I’ve stopped posting on here due to being in this negative headspace about my body… but trying to flip the script. What’s changed from the first video in 2020 to now?

Well first of all, no more COVID 🥲
I’m 32, not 26.
I have a backyard and not a small balcony.
I’m married AND HAVE A BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY 💙
Lastly, there’s SO many students that I did not know in 2020 that support me so much now 🫶🏻
