We have expanded our service offerings to include a Customized search service. This is a full service offering which includes data mining to find appropriate horses, review of horses for suitability, pre-viewing horses, arranging viewings and accompaniment to these viewings. A great alternative if you don't currently work with a coach but need a second set of eyes!

Doing my weekly update on a chilly Sunday. Only in Alberta will it go from a high of 4C today to a high of 26C on Saturday in October!

Noticing a lot of quality horses being added, some price updates, and very few are getting sold. If you are in the market for a new equine partner, this can be a great time to buy. Your Ideal Horse offers a subscription type service whereby you provide us with your specifications of what you are looking for in your next horse, and, on a weekly basis, we provide you a list of horses that match these specifications.

Where do we get the horses for sale? Well, on Facebook sales pages, horse sale sites, breeder websites, friends and personal contacts. The same sort of ways you do. The difference? We maintain a database of all these horses, add new horses, remove sold horses, so that it is always up to date, and there's no need for you to search sites for hours to find the horses you want to see!

This list is proofed by our 'Master Buyer', to ensure that the horses are a good match to what you are looking for, not just a bunch of horses you will still have to sift through!

The database is updated weekly, with lists being sent on Mondays, but if no new horses match your specifications, no new horses will be added to your list.

Why 'Your Ideal Horse'?

I've been in the equestrian community for over thirty years now, in hunter/jumper, dressage, and breeding. Of late, I've assisted my coach (an FEI level dressage rider), and friends in finding horses, whether as a sales horse or as a horse for themselves. Some of these I've found through the contacts I have, some through the internet. On the internet, I found that there's so many different sources that it can be exhausting to look through them all!

So, it came to me that if I was finding this, others looking for horses would be having the same issues! My facility with databases could then provide a single source for ads throughout the internet, as well as those that I am aware of, but are not necessarily advertised. Thus began the idea of 'Your Ideal Horse'.
