The International Football Association (IFA7) is proud to officially welcome Ghana Football 7 as the newest official member of the IFA7 international family.

This affiliation represents an important new chapter for the development of Football 7 in Ghana and strengthens IFA7’s continued expansion across the African continent.

Through this partnership, Ghana will now have a direct pathway into the IFA7 international structure, including opportunities for national development, official competitions, institutional cooperation, technical programs and future international participation.

Africa remains one of the most important regions in the future of Football 7, and Ghana will play an important role in that development.

OFFICIAL IFA7 NOTICE – AFRICA

Effective August 8, 2026, the Continental Affiliation Agreement relating to AFC7 has been formally terminated.

Accordingly, AFC7 is no longer affiliated with, recognized by, sanctioned by, authorized by, or acting on behalf of IFA7.

IFA7 is now moving forward directly with the development of Football 7 throughout Africa and welcomes direct communication from national associations, federations, governments, institutional partners and qualified organizations interested in official IFA7 recognition and development opportunities.

AFC7 may continue operating independently under its own identity; however, its activities do not carry IFA7 authorization, affiliation, recognition or sanction.

Official information and national affiliation inquiries should be directed exclusively to IFA7.

This important partnership marks another milestone in the continued global expansion of Football 7, bringing one of Russia's leading Football 7 organizations into the official IFA7 international family.

Under the leadership of Alexey Arkhipov and Andrey Pavlovich Morozov, Premier Football Cup will lead the development and promotion of IFA7 activities throughout the Russian Federation, creating new opportunities for clubs, players, coaches, referees, and fans to participate in officially sanctioned international competitions.

Through this affiliation, Russia will have the opportunity to participate in upcoming IFA7 events, including:

🇭🇳🤝🇦🇷 RECONOCIMIENTO INTERNACIONAL A TRAVÉS DEL DEPORTE

La Embajadora de Honduras en Argentina, Rosario Paulina Castillo Galo, recibió al árbitro internacional argentino Lizandro Vega, quien formó parte del equipo arbitral oficial del IFA7 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP™ Honduras 2026, celebrado recientemente en Tegucigalpa.

Durante el encuentro, ambas partes compartieron experiencias sobre el impacto positivo que generan los eventos deportivos internacionales en el fortalecimiento de las relaciones entre naciones, la promoción cultural y el desarrollo de oportunidades para atletas, árbitros y dirigentes.

La Embajadora destacó la importante labor desempeñada por Lizandro Vega durante el campeonato mundial, reconociendo el profesionalismo, la preparación y el compromiso demostrado a lo largo del torneo.

Por su parte, Vega agradeció la hospitalidad recibida en Honduras y resaltó el alto nivel organizativo del IFA7 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP™ Honduras 2026, evento que reunió a selecciones nacionales de América, Europa, África y Asia en una verdadera celebración del fútbol 7 internacional.
