I’ve been working with Hayden consistently for a couple of months, focusing on building his strength and conditioning. 💪🔥 I couldn’t be more proud of his relentless determination and the incredible effort he brings to every single session. 🙌👏 This kid’s dedication is truly inspiring! 🌟💯
Keep up the amazing work, Hayden—you’re crushing it! 🚀🏋️‍♂️
Hayden’s Story
Hayden had a tough start in life, being born prematurely at just 25 weeks gestation. 🍼✨ He spent nearly three months in the NICU, enduring both good and challenging days, including a PDA open-heart surgery. 💪 After coming home, he spent an additional three months on oxygen.
At two years old, concerns about his ability to walk and run led to a diagnosis of Mild Ataxia Cerebral Palsy. Despite this, Hayden’s strength and determination were evident even to the nurses in the NICU, who recognized his fighting spirit early on. 🏆💫
Now, at 14 years old, Hayden continues to defy expectations and inspire everyone around him. He’s worked tirelessly, never letting anything stand in his way. Today, he plays competitive ball hockey and stays active in every way he can. 🏑🔥 Hayden’s journey is a testament to his incredible resilience and unstoppable drive! 👏💥 I first met Hayden when I was a student in Health and Physical Education when I was chosen to be a trainer for kids with Cerebral Palsy. It so happened that two hockey fans got to work together, I trained Hayden once a week for a couple months, working on hockey skills, strength and conditioning and reaching his fitness goals .
