A little less comparing, a little more tending.
🌱
Put your energy into the people, dreams, and daily habits you want to see grow.
🌱
Sometimes the change we’re looking for starts with giving what we already have a little more care and attention.

20 years ago, I walked through this 17th century archway that led to my classes at the University of Edinburgh campus one final time.

This month marks that 20 years since I started my company and started doing this work. At that time, I had no idea where it would take me.

Olympic Games, airports, professional events, airports, hotels, airports, and competition venues around the world. (Did I mention airports?)

With all the incredible locations and events I’ve had the privilege of working in, some of the moments I remember most happened away from the spotlight: in conversations before the big moment, after a truly difficult one, or somewhere in between.

For 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping people perform when something really, truly matters to them…and they’ve taught me just as much in return.

I’m incredibly grateful for every athlete, coach, colleague, team, organization, and client who has trusted me along the way.

20 years later, I still love this work….and I’m excited to see what comes next. 🤍

September is here!
💫
This is one of my favourite months, as it lines up with change, new beginnings, and growth.
💫
So with that in mind: New month, new mindset. This September, spend less energy criticizing what is, and put more energy into creating what could be.

June is here!
⛵️
This felt fitting, with the huge wind and rainstorm Calgary experienced yesterday.
⛵️
Leadership isn’t about waiting for conditions to improve, it’s about responding effectively to the conditions you have.
⛵️
The wind can represent anything: uncertainty, pressure, setbacks, difficult people, or any other speed bump you may encounter. How we respond matters: adapt, adjust, and move forward.

Some seasons can feel a bit heavier than others, especially with added pressure, expectations and responsibilities.
☀️
You don’t always get to choose the load that life hands you, but you DO get to choose how you carry it: either with resistance or resilience; with self-judgment or self-compassion.
☀️
Sometimes strength is defined by carrying something differently than you did in the past.
☀️
Thanks to for this one.

May is here!
🌱
Just like like spring, the best kind of growth takes a bit of time; so start now, stick with it, and trust what’s quietly coming to life.
