We often live our lives from the neck up, treating our thoughts like the sole authors of our reality. Yet, our body is a sacred mirror. It reflects exactly how we treat ourselves, how we hold our boundaries, and how we relate ro the world around us.
When we push down our emotions, the mirror doesn't lie - it registers the tension as a physical sensation... a knot in our stomach, a tight chest, a heavy shoulder.
If you,ve been feeling physically disconnected, your body may be inviting you to look a little deeper into the mirror.
The body is not silent. It acts as a somatic guidance system - speaking a language most of us have long forgotten...
In my latest blog post, The Sacred Mirror: A Reflective Practice for Deeper Connection, I am sharing a reflective somatic practice with journal prompts to get you started on your journey forward into wellness.
