The snowboard world had to say goodbye to someone truly exceptional today.

Robert Mastnak was so much more than a familiar face on the Snowboard Alpine World Cup tour. As the father and coach of Olympic medalist Tim Mastnak, and the man behind the M-Team, he dedicated countless years to the sport and to supporting those around him.

Those who knew Robert will remember him for something that was always there — his smile. No matter the day, the conditions or the result, Robert always had a smile to share.

Thank you for everything you gave to our snowboard racing family, Robert. You will be deeply missed, but your smile and all the memories will stay with us. 🖤

The countdown is on to the start of the 2026/27 FIS Park & Pipe World Cup Season!

We’ll be kicking things off with snowboard and freeski qualifications in Innsbruck on November 26th at the first of 27 Park & Pipe World Cup competitions set to go down this winter.

Throw in the Montafon 2027 World Championships and you’ve got yourself one massive season shaping up. We can’t wait to get the party started…😤👌
