The sole had broken down on these older Golden Horse custom figure boots just enough that they wouldn’t hold screws anymore. A quick repair extended their life and allowed the blades to be mounted securely.

Extended the straps on this set of youth goalie knee pads and added some new Velcro.

A definite upgrade to these Nash Sniper tongues. Factory tongues had seen better days! Topped ‘er off with a full re-rivet of both boots, and a buzz, and these are ready for more action.

Eyelet Row Boot Repair from last week. This pair came in with a broken/torn top eyelet. Plastic was broken through and liner/leather was torn. Opened up the boot, reinforced with plastic and ripstop across the 3 top eyelets and sealed it back up. Ready for action!

Rick made a staffing change when I took the morning off yesterday. I fully support the decision. Our newest employee is a quick learner! Literally works for biscuits, and fetches skates from the shelf in record time. We do have to apologize about the drool in your skates though 🤣 We’re working on that!

Never ceases to amaze me how some shops sharpen youth skates. Smaller skates often get a poor sharpening because some sharpeners think the skater won’t know the difference, or the tiny skate torques in the holder and the Tech is too lazy to adjust. The top-left pic is how this tiny skate came in, the top-right is after some TLC from Doc. Don’t you think little skaters deserve a proper grind too? We do - that’s why it doesn’t matter the size of the skate, everyone gets proper, level, keen edges with us.
