A proposal to rezone property for subdivision in Electoral Area A adjacent to Fernie Alpine Resort has been referred back to staff.

Bylaws 3102 and 3103 would amend the Official Community Plan and zoning designation of multiple properties, known as the Galloway Lands, to permit future subdivision.

First time competing at a FIS Freestyle Skiing Big Air World Cup in front of a home crowd for our slopestyle athletes Teal Harle and Mark Hendrickson both finishing 4th and 6th respectively. Another successful weekend on home soil for our moguls athletes at the FIS Freestyle Skiing Calgary World Cup. Les Soeurs Dufour-Lapointe (Justine and Chloé) were on the podium for a second weekend in a row. On the men's side Mikaël Kingsbury had a great day of skiing to finish second. Athletes are now making their way to Deer Valley for their next World Cup event.

Les bosseurs ont connu un autre excellent week-end en sol canadien à la Coupe du monde de Calgary. Les Soeurs Dufour-Lapointe (Justine et Chloé) ont terminé respectivement deuxième et troisième et continuent de bâtir sur le momentum de Val St-Côme. Chez les hommes Mikaël Kingsbury a connu une bonne journée de ski pour prendre le deuxième rang. Les athlètes prennent la direction de Deer Valley pour la prochaine Coupe du monde.
