This past weekend, I had the opportunity to stay at a beautiful hotel in Kananaskis. It was a unique space—people from all walks of life gathered for different reasons: family getaways, friend reunions, and even work retreats and meetings.

While spending quality time with my family, I couldn’t help but tap into one of my favourite pastimes—people watching. I noticed the moments between parents and their kids, laughter among friends, and even thoughtful discussions during business conversations.

What stood out to me in all these interactions was the presence of safe space—where people felt seen, heard, and valued. ♥️

It reminded me how powerful it is when we, as leaders, intentionally create that kind of space in our workplaces and communities.
