This past Saturday, Noah, Victor, and Andi stepped into the ring and challenged themselves in different ways.

Still new to tournaments and fighting, Andi stepped into the ring with courage, bravery, and determination. She held her own against advanced and experienced and even adult fighters, and we couldn’t be more proud.

Keep learning, growing, and believing in yourself. You have so much potential, and we’re grateful to be part of your journey.

Also new to the fight game, Victor is always ready to challenge himself. He stepped up, put on a great performance, and showed impressive skill for someone so new to competition.
What stood out most was his willingness to learn, listen, adapt, and step outside his comfort zone.
Keep your eyes on this one… Victor is coming! 👀

Fresh off CMTO, Noah continues to show us what determination looks like. He takes every opportunity to gain experience, learn, and grow as a fighter.
His dedication, commitment, and genuine love for the sport make him incredibly special to coach. He doesn’t just want to fight , he wants to learn, improve, and become better every time he steps into the ring.
We already see the fighter and champion he has the potential to become. 🏆

Winning is amazing, but that’s not what makes us proudest.

It’s watching our students overcome nerves, face challenges, step outside their comfort zones, learn from every experience, and come back ready to work harder.

Every tournament teaches us something …technique, composure, resilience, or simply the courage to step into the ring.

Our job isn’t just to teach people how to fight. It’s to help them build confidence, discipline, resilience, humility, and belief in themselves.

Andi, Victor & Noah , you each showed us something different this weekend, and we couldn’t be more proud. Keep it up!

Well… that’s a wrap on the 4th Annual Canadian Muay Thai Open 2026. 🇨🇦🥊

Where do we even begin?
Forget the results for a moment.
Let’s talk about THEM.
The early mornings.
The late nights.
The sore bodies.
The hard rounds.
The roadwork.
The sacrifices.
The moments they were tired, frustrated, doubting themselves… and still showed up.
Let’s talk about everything they put on hold to chase this moment. The courage it takes to step into that ring knowing you’re going to be tested in every possible way.

Jasy. Xavier. Noah.
We are so unbelievably proud of you.
You represented yourselves, your families, your coaches, United Fist, and the sport you love. You gave everything you had.
And while we may not have gotten our hands raised this time, please understand:
YOU DID NOT DISAPPOINT US. Not for one second.

As coaches, we don’t love you because you win. We don’t stand beside you because your hand gets raised. We love you because of who you are when things don’t go your way.
We saw you hurt. Exhausted. Disappointed.
And we saw you get back up.
That’s a fighter.

We won’t use this post to talk about decisions or scorecards.
This post belongs to YOU THREE.

Those close decisions and those moments of wondering, “What more could I have done?” let them fuel you.
Fuel the next training session.
Fuel the next run.
Fuel the next round.
Fuel the next fight.
We will learn. We will adapt. We will sharpen our game.
HARDER. SMARTER. STRONGER.
At United Fist, we say it all the time:

Next week, Jasy, Noah, and Xavier step into the ring at the 4th Annual Canadian Muay Thai Open 2026 in Kitchener, Ontario, with one goal….to battle for the title of Canadian National Champion.

No shortcuts. No excuses. Just months of sacrifice, discipline, sweat, and relentless preparation.

They have earned this opportunity. Now it’s time to find out who is willing to dig the deepest when the bell rings.
To every opponent standing across the ring... be ready. These warriors aren’t coming just for the experience…they’re coming to make a statement.

To every member of the United Fist family who helped prepare them, whether you put in rounds, held pads, shared your knowledge, or simply offered words of encouragement….thank you.

What an incredible weekend for Victor at his very first tournament! 🥊🏆

It has been such a pleasure watching you grow. From day one, you’ve come into the gym with eagerness, determination, and a willingness to learn. You show up, work hard, listen to your coaches, and give your best every single day and this weekend, all of that hard work paid off.

We couldn’t be prouder of you, Victor! These medals are a reflection of the dedication, discipline, and heart you’ve put into your training. But what makes us even more proud is the respectful, humble, and hardworking young athlete you’re becoming.

This is just the beginning of an exciting journey, kiddo. Keep trusting the process, and keep chasing your goals. Your future is incredibly bright, and we can’t wait to watch you continue to grow.
A heartfelt thank you to Master Hussein and the entire DMA team for continuing to host these amazing tournaments.
