On January 29, 2015 the NHL, in conjunction with the AHL announced the Pacific Division's formation including the Calgary Flames moving their AHL team from New York to Stockton, California. The Stockton Heat began play as the top affiliate of the Calgary Flames on October 15, 2015 with a 7-0 victory over the Rockford IceHogs at Stockton Arena and ever since then, the city has been abuzz with the H
