Dear customers and potential customers,

A few months ago, I adjusted the shipping on the website to ship only to Canada. After that adjustment, the shop was very quiet, the quietest it’s been in the 5 years that I’ve been running the shop.

I had some orders for pick up but that was it.

Last week it was brought to my attention that I had accidentally turned all shipping off, so the only option on orders was to pick up.

This has been repaired and we are back to offering shipping across Canada.

Thank you for your support and I apologize for any inconvenience this caused.

The Spinal Strip

Last week a regular student who is nearing the end of her maternity leave reported that her regular yoga practice using the spinal strip has been the most helpful tool in recovering from pregnancy and breastfeeding.

The very next day another student who is 30 weeks pregnant with her second child said the spinal strip work has helped her pregnancy progress smoothly and with much more ease than her first.

These were both unprompted reviews reminding me just how effective this practice is.

If you haven’t tried the spinal strip yet, you really should. There are great teachers sharing this method online and in person.

The CAT Yoga Props staff is away on vacation. Our shop will be closed for summer break until August 5, 2025. You can still place an order and all orders will be filled upon our return.

I am traveling with my spinal strip and the whole family is using it and keeping our spines and bodies feeling functional and mobile.

Long before I was selling these props, I was traveling with a spinal strip. They’re easy to carry in your suitcase and I can’t tell you how good it feels to lay on it after a day of travel or walking 20,000 steps.

The CAT shoulder stand block, looking pretty on display at One Yoga Vancouver.

The studio purchased these blocks to assist students in shoulder stand pose and they are loving it.

Before I sold the props and I was building up my collection, the shoulder stand block was the last prop that I purchased, I bought two of them, and I was so happy when I finally owned them.
