Getting excited for the season? We have to go through a couple more fake springs & extra winters but we’ll get there! Mark your calendars for some upcoming important dates:
SGM is on April 11 at 1 pm; Registration for returning members starts April 15; Registration for new members starts April 22; Club spring cleanup is May 9.

SAVE THE DATE, April 11, for the Spring General Meeting at the club. We’ll be voting on club dues for 2026, a special resolution to our club bylaws and to fill any open volunteer positions. Other important dates: April 15 Members Registration April 22 New Member Registration May 9 Spring Clean. May 26-28 Practice & Lessons May 30 Kick off BBQ & roll off May 31 League Play Starts July 16-17 Casino Sept 12 & 19 Year end tournaments

The women's winners have been unveiled!

🥇🥈 After a very tight tie-break round in the gold medal game, Joanna Cooper (AB) came away with the win against Linda NG (BC). We look forward to cheering Joanna on as she represents Canada at the World Bowls Indoor Championship in May 2026 in Australia.

🥉 In the bronze medal game, we saw Jan Robinson (AB) take the win after a tied first set against Manitoba's Gillian McMurchy. These two really left it all on the greens today!

Congratulations to all the players for bring their A-game throughout the event!

Les gagnantes chez les femmes ont été dévoilées !

🥇🥈 Après un tie-break très serré dans le match pour la médaille d'or, Joanna Cooper (AB) a remporté la victoire contre Linda NG (BC). Nous sommes prêts à encourager Joanna qui représentera le Canada au Championnat du monde de boulingrin intérieur en mai 2026 en Australie.

🥉Dans la finale pour la médaille de bronze, Jan Robinson (AB) a remporté la victoire après un premier match à égalité contre Gillian McMurchy (Manitoba). Ces deux joueuses ont vraiment tout donné sur le vert aujourd'hui !

Félicitations à toutes les joueuses pour avoir donné le meilleur d'elles-mêmes tout au long de la compétition !

2025 Canadian Bowler Open Singles is a wrap!

Despite some rain that shut down our streaming. We had an awesome set of finals.

🏆 Championship bracket

2025 Canadian Bowler Open Singles Champion is Rick "Ricky Bobby" Lyons defeating David Anderson 21-11.

The third was split between Jan Robinson and Ryan "Scott" Pollard.

🌿 Treaty 7 Bracket

Michael "Big Show" O'Connor defeated Jake House 21-13 to take the title.

Third went to Cayden Carter defeating Darrell Hanoski 21-13.

🍻Village Brewery Bracket

David Taylor (SCO) defeated John Lee (USA) 21-8.

The third was split between Adrian Chan and Sandy McKenzie!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this an awesome start to our event. Lots of fun, lots of laughs and an amazing amount of great bowls. More pictures to follow shortly!
