‼️ Women’s Tryouts are Here! ‼️
We are recruiting players for the 9man NACIVT (North American Chinese Invitation Volleyball Tournament), taking place Labour Day long weekend from September 5-7th, 2026. This is a 3-day tournament going on to its 81st year hosted in Montreal!
At the tournament, Men’s play 9v9 and Women’s play 6v6.
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ:
NACIVT has specific rules requiring players to be of Chinese or Asian descent in order to participate. Exactly from their Rule Book:
“Eligibility of Players: To participate as a player in the NACIVT, players must be of Asian descent in whole or in part and have origins in one or more of the following approved/eligible countries:
Myanmar (formerly Burma), Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, or Vietnam”
Please only register if you meet the rules of being an Eligible Player in the 81st NACIVT.

1st Tryout: Friday, May 1st, 2026 | 6:00-8:00 PM
Location: Jack Simpson Gym - University of Calgary | 2500 University Dr NW, Calgary, AB
2nd Tryout: Sunday, May 3rd, 2026 | 3:00-5:00 PM
Location: Volleydome GYM | 250 - 10 Stonehill Pl NE, Calgary, AB
‼️ Important Dates:
Due to possible space limitations, tryouts will be invitational.
- Application Deadline (both dates): Friday, April 24th at 11:59pm MT
- Invitations Sent via Email: Monday, April 27th, 2026
Cost: $15 per tryout
Must be 18+ years of age (under 18 years old, please contact us).
