We have been using Flyball Hub for a while now (since testing it as a pilot) and figured it was time to share our love for it! Screenshots here are from desktop, but looks just as good on mobile.
Flyball Hub is an app/website for flyball club management (available in Android and Apple app stores) that has been a game changer for managing our club. Some of our favorite features, in no particular order:
1) Share your team link with code to only your members.
2) Owners (team members) can add their dogs or captains can add them – and they can be claimed by the owner later (we have been doing this with our beginner class dogs).
3) For each dog: ID space for CRN, photo for quick identification, breed, owner, birthday, and turn direction – plus custom levels for training level, skills, and ball types. You can sort by the different info (alphabetical name, training level, etc. Team captains can edit info as well. We haven’t used the training and stats options at the dog level to their potential yet.
4) Well-optimized for mobile and computer
5) Practices! Tournaments! With RSVP for dogs and/or people. This has been a gamechanger for planning and organizing practice. You can repeat previous training schedules or make new, set the time blocks, and add dogs (RSVP’d or not).
6) Sub-Teams – dogs that commonly do things together can be grouped.
7) Tournaments – ability to add existing teams or make quick teams from club dogs. We keep track of payments, etc in the notes for each tournament.
8) Member info – emergency contacts, allergies, contact info, etc – all in one place!
9) Personalize team colors, etc
I am sure I am forgetting things – but it has significantly decreased the work to organize practices and tournaments, has made it easier to find all the info for something in one place, and greatly reduced the amount of random Facebook messages.
