Our younger Palgrave Tennis Club members enjoyed an unforgettable experience at the National Bank Open last week, getting an exclusive front-row look at the world of professional tennis which included:

🎾Morning Clinic on the NBO Practice Courts: Players kicked off the day with a hands-on, on-court tennis clinic while parents watched all the action from the Rogers Beyond the Seat Viewing Deck.

🎤Behind-the-Scenes Tour: Our group went behind the scenes at Sobeys Stadium and caught pros warming up in the gym, the players private lounge, the interview/press room and much more.

🏆Grandstand Opening Ceremony: Our players had the incredible honor of taking part in the Guard of Honour right on the Grandstand Court.

🥗Suite Lunch & Centre Court Matches: The team enjoyed lunch inside a Sobeys Stadium suite while watching world-class action on Centre Court, the match featured eventual winner Iga Świątek and Śára Bejlek.

🤝Exclusive Q&A and Meet-and-Greet: Following the matches, players attended a special interview with rising star Victoria Mboko. A few lucky members even asked her questions directly and everyone walked away with autographs, photos and a massive group selfie hosted by Victoria herself!

💙A huge thank you to Coach Andres for organizing such an inspiring and magical day for our young athletes! And a special shout out to Coach Hailey for guiding us through the day!

FREE** Tennis Clinic (age 50+)

We’re excited to offer a completely free tennis clinic for Palgrave Tennis Club members aged 50+ as part of the Ontario Tennis Association’s “Green Means Go” initiative.

This program is designed to introduce and develop tennis skills in a fun, welcoming, and low-pressure environment. Whether you’re new to the game or looking to get back into it, this is a great opportunity to get active, improve your skills, and enjoy time on court with fellow members.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of tennis with Andres, our Head Pro, in a safe and supportive setting. To make things even more fun, we’ll also have prizes to give away, and every participant will go home with something.

Spots are limited, so be sure to register early.

Join us for the annual Youth Tournament!

Our youth tennis tournament is open to all players, regardless of skill level or previous tournament experience. The goal is to give participants an opportunity to experience match play, challenge themselves, and compete against other players they may know from lessons or camp. Whether it's your first tournament or you've played matches before, this is a great chance to gain experience and have fun on the court.

The tournament will take place on Saturday, July 19. Register using the QR code or the link below. The registration and payment deadline is Wednesday, July 15. The registration fee is $15 per participant, payable by e-transfer or cash. Food and prizes will be available for all participants on tournament day.
