Today marks the opening performance of our Swan Lake production. Welcome to , and thank you for joining us to enjoy the show.

This Black Swan Pas de Deux from Act III is performed by an 11-year-old young dancer. It is quite possible that this is one of the youngest performers ever to take on this iconic and demanding piece.

These are the youngest members of our Swan Lake cast, with some dancers as young as five years old. Although they are not yet performing the major roles, being part of a full-length ballet production gives them a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of the theater, the storytelling, and the artistic environment surrounding them. These early experiences help nurture their love for ballet and inspire them to dream, grow, and one day take on greater challenges themselves. 🦢✨

This year, our Corps de Ballet of White Swans has not only grown in number but also taken a significant step forward in technical difficulty. Every White Swan will perform entirely en pointe, a remarkable achievement that reflects countless hours of dedication, discipline, and hard work. We are incredibly proud of their growth, commitment, and the progress they have made throughout this journey. 🦢

This Friday marks RPBA’s second year presenting the full-length ballet Swan Lake. We will be performing three shows with three different casts, bringing together dancers, teachers, and students from across our entire studio on the same stage.

We may not be the most accomplished company yet, but we are determined to be the fastest growing. Our goal is simple: to give more young dancers the opportunity to challenge themselves, push beyond their limits, and continue growing through the art of ballet.

Thank you for coming to the theatre to support their hard work, dedication, and progress. Your encouragement means the world to these young artists.

First of all, congratulations to and on receiving their first-ever awards at the YAGP Finals.

They also became the only award-winning dancers from Western Canada.

Representing Canada among competitors from 50 countries, they brought great honor to Canada on the international stage.

At the same time, Vincent’s PC Contemporary Bronze Award 🥉 was also the highest solo award earned by a Canadian dancer at the YAGP Finals this year 🇨🇦.

Vincent and Lina’s Classical Pas de Deux was likewise the only Canadian 🇨🇦 award-winning work in that category.

We would like to sincerely thank all the coaches at RPBA for their dedication and hard work, as well as all the parents for their continuous support.

We are also deeply grateful to for providing such an incredible platform that allows young dancers to continue growing, improving, and pursuing excellence.
