Summer Swim Academy Summer Swim Academy has been offering private backyard swim lessons in the comfort of your own home and lifeguarding services over the last decade!

Within young populations, drowning is the second-greatest cause of accidental death; two-thirds of these accidents occur in the summer months, and the most common location for drowning’s are private swimming pools. It is highly recommended from the Life Saving Society of Canada that parents recognize the need to provide resources that can educate and

encourage children to swim safely. Summer Swim Academy is a seasonal business, operating from early June to end of August. We teach Red Cross certified "Swim Kids" swimming lessons in your own’ private swimming pool. Lessons are available in 30 min intervals on a 1:1 basis with the instructor. Lifeguards will also be available to guard private pool parties. Our business practice aims to simultaneously educate children in a safe, personalized environment, while also providing a resource for their parents/guardians.

🚨 EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY 🚨

We understand the potential health risks associated with wildfire smoke, even at low concentrations. Therefore, Summer Swim Academy staff are actively monitoring the air quality in Ontario.

Lessons will be CANCELLED and rescheduled under the following conditions:

🏊🏼‍♂️ Air Quality Index reads 7+
🏊🏼‍♂️ Clients with pre-existing respiratory issues wish to reschedule
🏊🏼‍♂️ Instructors may cancel at their discretion due to the number of hours spent outdoors

If the Air Quality Index reads between 1-6, please consider the lesson a GO.

If you need to reschedule a lesson due to a known respiratory disorder, please contact us immediately so that we have ample time to let your instructor know.

If the above conditions do not apply to you, please respect our Policies and Procedures that dictate that a minimum of 48 hours notice is required to reschedule.
