Moon In June Road Race The Moon In June is a fast and flat 5 & 10k run ending at with a party in Burlington's Civic Square. Be part of something great!

The Moon in June course is a flat fast one loop certified 5k and 2 loop certified 10km of downtown Burlington. The route highlights the fabulous Burlington Waterfront at sunset and finishes in the Burlington Civic Square at City Hall. There is also a 1 k Kids Fun Run and Gordon's Grand K! All proceeds form the Moon in June support the Children's Aid Foundation of Halton.

What could be better than celebrating Christmas in July while supporting an amazing cause? Join the fun Monday, August 3rd from 2 pm to 4 pm at the BLK SWAN. Buffet lunch, face painting, cookie decorating, colouring and, I heard Santa will be there.

Emmett is a 16 year old young man fighting Acute Lymphoblastic (ALL).

While going through treatment this summer Emmett has decided to run a fundraiser for other teens like him to help raise donations of Tech Accessories like headphones and phone chargers, LEGO for teens, Electronics, Art Supplies, Comfort Items and Gift Cards for teens. If you are able to donate to the ABSURD initiative there are several locations in Burlington and Oakville. Go to to find locations and learn more about Emmett and his journey.

If you are looking for something fun to do on the Civic Holiday, ABSURD's Christmas in July party is a great way to enjoy the afternoon and help make a difference to kids spending their summer in the hospital instead of being able to have fun.
