In 2011, DNAfitness moved into their new 30,000 square foot facility. The new facility provides a place for Professional and Amateur athletes to hone their skills and develop their talents as well as business professionals,

executives and individuals alike to reach their goals in a results oriented environment. When you step in the door, whether you’re an elite Athlete or so called regular folk you are here to work and reach your goals. We expect of our clients what we expect out of ourselves, dedication and hard work. We would never ask our clients to do something we haven’t or aren’t willing to do.

Coaches. Quit telling people an athlete is yours. They are not. They hired you to perform a job. You are their coach. Period.

Your job is to hold up your end of the bargain and do you job. Keep them healthy, get them ready for season, create some balance, strength and power and just do your fu***ng job.

You should be grateful someone has hired you, given you their body and relied on you for your expertise. Be honest with them and give them your best physically and mentally because they hired YOU not the other way around. Just do your job.

A little Sunday rant for the fitness industry. Things you won’t see at dna...

A coach on social media when training clients

A coach watching you ride the bike or treadmill for your “active” session
——-
A coach that knows very little about their client in and out of the gym
——-
A coach taking selfies
——-
A coach on their device other than to record workout data
——-
A coach taking calls
——-
A coach that isn’t prepared and dedicated to the hour in front of them
——-
A coach asking if you’d like to stop early so they can setup their night
——-
Let’s be clear. This happens everyday in the fitness industry and if it happens to you, fire your coach immediately without hesitation, on the spot because you are getting ripped off.

Love or hate some of the exercises, that’s besides the point. One thing that is consistent with every great goal and ex*****on towards that goal is hard work. This is proof. Suspect exercise selection, mediocre form but hard ass work you can’t deny nor appreciate. Get off your ass up, go for a walk, lift weights, complete an Ironman, whatever it takes for activity and consistency. Excuses are for the mentally and physically weak. Check yourself because honesty is hard to come by. Props to pat.

Trust me when it’s all done you won’t regret one moment, one tear, or any other the pain.. It will all be worth it.. Leave everything on the table give you all you got... Comment how bad you want it or tag a friend that needs to see...

We’ve said it a thousand times...the gym discriminates equally, with no boundaries. The bar,l and weights do the talking, you either have the answer or you don’t. has the answers. If this doesn’t get you fired up on a Friday to put your mediocre excuses to bed you don’t have a pulse. Get your s**t together, get out and lift something heavy. Kudos to smiley.

Let’s keep it real on a Wednesday night. No one cares about your success. Until you realize your working for yourself you’ll be captive to the BS.

No one outside your immediate family and maybe a few select friends (most likely half of them don’t care) really give a s**t about your success or failure. So don’t worry about them. They don’t matter. Your success will be built on you, no ones else. The quicker you realize that the faster you’ll move forward.

Do it for yourself, do it selfishly, do it for the only vessel you have and make it a long game not a short position. Only then will you see and truly feel success.

We often talk about greatness and how one individual has reached the pinnacle.

Greatness, like failure is a mindset.

We have the ability to turn it on or off but the “greats” can manage and control the mental aspect of; pain, failure, weakness and their shortcomings to become great.

Greatness could very well be the ability to deal with all the bulls**t just better than others, for longer, at a higher rate of speed, until the delta, which is effort, pushes them to the pinnacle.
