They stepped onto the national stage with courage in their hearts and fire in their spirit. No matter the outcome, every match was a reflection of their discipline, resilience, and commitment to growth.

Last week at the 2026 Canadian National Taekwondo Championships, our athletes didn’t just compete. They represented the numerous early mornings, late nights, setbacks, comebacks, and unwavering belief.

Looking back on an AMAZING 2025, we started off strong with multiple national champions, many local tournaments, and of course our very own 2 day annual Black Belt Would tournament. We had fun filled PA Day, March break and summer camps. A relocation to a first class facility with a spectacular grand opening. At the new location alone we have already held a provincial training camp, our 50th black belt testing, and to end the off the year we held part of our 2025 winter Kyorugi training camp with the Korean team, olympians and athletes from all over the country, and a few very special guests.

To say we had an amazing year is an understatement, thank you to each and everyone that helped contribute to our success this year, it really does take a village and we are beyond grateful for the one we have.
