This is Robin Rose, my son Aaron Rose #65 played for the BMFA Bantam Ti-Cats 2011 team and I felt that you all should know he tragically passed away on Thursday June 4th, 2015
I have tried to get this posted on here but it just was not working so I'm sorry for the lateness of it.
I would like to let everyone know that Aaron Rose's funeral will be held on Thursday June 11th, 2015 for family & friends from 2-4pm & 6-9pm at Dodsworth and Brown Funeral Home. The address is 2241 New St (right by the YMCA) in Burlington, Ontario. There is no viewing, his wishes were to be cremated. There will be an urn and Aaron's picture in front of it. In sense it is the viewing/funeral because his ashes are coming home with us until we find the perfect place for Aaron Rose. The urn that we want to have for Aaron won't be ready in time for the funeral due to the time sensitivity of how long it takes to do the special design and engraving that we wish to have for Aaron to represent his life. This is for all of our family and friends to come pay their respects to us, to look at photos, and to talk about Aaron. We felt this was what was best for all of the high school kids to grieve and what was needed.Any one is welcome to come help celebrate Aaron's life❤ We appreciate the flowers but also in lieu of flowers we would love for people to donate to the trust fund that we have set up for Aaron so we can try to make sure no other mother or family has to go through this pain and hopefully be able to help other kids going through the things Aaron went through. We hope that in Aaron's passing we can keep his memory alive by donating money to a foundation for kids with depression and bullying as well as Jeff Rose, myself (Robin Rose aka RJ Rose) and Aaron's sister Ashley Rose will be hoping we can eventually goto schools to talk about the seriousness of bullying the effects it takes people and also about depression and reaching out to others like family, friends, school councillors, outside councillors, and significant others. We're always going to be here with open arms and an open house for many many years to come for anyone that knew Aaron and just needed to be near him, or needs to talk, cry or have us just listen as well as calls or texts, whatever it takes to keep helping others in need just like Aaron always did because he had such a big heart. We would also like to express our sincerest thanks for all the posts, comments, photos, flowers , texts, and phone calls. Please also everyone share this so we make sure everyone that wants to know this information is able to get it because I know we don't have everyone of Aaron's friends on all of our pages. I will also be sharing this on Aaron's page too. We will also post the link to the funeral home's site once they get everything up and ready about Aaron. This is just us trying to give everyone as much notice as possible.
R.I.P AARON ROSE
