Creative Edge has the objective of providing updated teaching techniques and choreography to dancers in a positive manner. Dance Styles: Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Ballet, Tap, Acrobatics, Break Dance, Creative Movement (age 2 1/2), Adult Classes, Recreational, Competitive, Part Time Competitive & Drop In! Open/Drop-in Classes: Drop in clases are dedicated to dancers who would like to be challenged Open classes are for dancers who are looking to have fun, stay healthy and exercise without having to perform at a year end show. These classes are available in Jazz Technique, Lyrica, Acrobratics and Hip Hop for ages 10 and up. Performance Classes: This is a Recreational Program that offers a unique variety of classes. Enjoy dance sessions in every genre at a leisurely pace. From kids (starting at age 3) to adults, learn the basics in technique while having fun and getting a good workout. These classes are dedicated to dancers who are either just beginning the art form or do not wish to be in a competitive environment, but still love to perform as edgy dancers!! This program is set out to further a dancer’s abilities, allowing them to gain experience performing on a stage, as well as experience what it is like to be a part of team. In these classes dancers will learn commitment, teamwork, time management and social skills that will set the stage for their future. Performing Company: The Performing Company consists of dancers who love to perform and compete in a positive and fun environment. These dancers will be trained to fully execute their talents as dancers and prepare them to become a part of the professional world of dance. Our aim is to inspire creativity, build confidence, and above all provide a well-rounded and technically strong program for our dancers. All our competitive students must have excellent work ethic & punctuality. They must act respectful & friendly at all times. Street Dance Program: This is a program designed and dedicated to hip hop and street dancers who want a competitive edge! These dancers are integrated with our Creative Company and given technical training. They are part-time competitive students who have not yet had the chance to train in a positive, competitive studio environment. This program helps these dancers learn all types of dance in a safe and positive atmosphere. NEW: Part Time and Pre Competitive Program (Starting at age 4)
