Burloak Aikikai Aikido Aikido for beginners & experienced We welcome new people to join us in starting the day off right with a good sweaty aikido practice!!!

This dojo began in 2017 when Ben Peacock started teaching some early morning classes to Shudokan Family Karate members and friends in the Oakville-Burlington-Hamilton area as a summer pilot project. The students' response was very positive and we are grateful to Shudokan's Nakamura-sensei for offering us his space to continue training! Ben Peacock has a 6th-dan from the Aikikai, and has trained co

nsistently for 40 years in many places around the world, including over a decade of regular practice at the headquarters (Hombu) in Tokyo. We have four practices a week: Mon & Wed evenings 9:00-10:15pm and Sat & Sun mornings 8:15-9:30am.
