We wrapped up our Girl Talk PA Day series today! We discussed the importance of having role models and learning from their behaviour. We also explored how self-esteem impacts your willingness to take on leadership roles.

We ended the day with some affirmations plants, that we can watch bloom! 🌸🌷

We had such a great day today at the Living Well Expo hosted by !

We had a wonderful time speaking with all the seniors who stopped by, and learning more about the wonderful resources and services available to seniors in Ontario.

YOU BELONG at GirlTalk!! 💕

Another fun day at our GirlTalk PA Day workshop! - Todays topic was “You Belong.” We spent the day talking about friendship, practiced validating each other, and learned about the purpose of our emotions.
We also learned a key DBT Skill called the GIVE Skill, which is used to help maintain relationships/friendships. We made GIVE Key chains the girls can take home to remember this important skill! 💗

Our GirlTalk PA Day workshop is part of a 6 part workshop series, hosted on all Halton Public School PA days. The next workshop is on FRIDAY JUNE 6th, 2025 from 9am-4pm. We still have a few spots open for the next date!
