Bodrug's Burlington Dance Company It's Great to Belong! The objective of the company is that students are encouraged to learn the art of dance within a friendly, yet productive environment.

Cheryle Bodrug’s Burlington Dance Company is a family run business that has provided quality instruction to the Burlington Community for over 20 years. Cheryle Bodrug, BDC Founder and Artistic Director Emeritus, dreamed of creating a dance environment wherein students would find a sense of belonging and family, enjoy the art of learning, and in the process become highly skilled performers. Each and every student at BDC is an important part of our special dance community.

When BDC began in 1991, there was no way of knowing just how much it would grow, or how many lives would become part of its story.

What started with a love of dance has grown into something so much bigger: generations of dancers, lifelong friendships, incredible teachers, families who have been with us for years, and a community that continues to grow.

And through it all, BDC has remained a family quite literally.

From Cheryle starting it all, to Kari helping carry that vision forward today, more than 35 years later, it’s pretty special to look back at where we started and everything this community has become.

Here’s to where we’ve been, where we are, and all that’s still to come. ✨

This year we introduced something brand new: the Flex Division. A pathway for dancers who want more than recreational and are ready to explore what competitive training looks like, without the full commitment (just yet).
