“The Battle of Love for skateboarding”
Clip from last weekend shot by
This may not look like much, but seriously if someone asked me if I still skate last week, I would of said a hard “Nope!” on that. I’ve been battling a back injury for last 5 years, between half those years around the 3d year I wasn’t skating and could only skate for a about 15 min before crying in pain now for the last 2 years I’ve focused on building a skateboard company and getting my back to health, biggest improvement was this year and last year up till two weekends ago. I thought I’d give heavy lifting a shot tried to lift something around 200 - 300IB (300 is my record.) and after third attempt I knew instantly I screwed my back up again. And felt as bad as the first time it happend. I thought for sure ill never be able to skate or do something as little as walk normal. It took me 3 years to make any improvements the first time I seriously thought I was done for good, bed written as they call it. But some how with all the knowledge I gained from injuring it the first time I was able to skate again with in a week? I may not be 100% but defently feels like that injury never happend.
Life is short, so try to Enjoy a healthy one.
Thanks for letting me skate awesome ramp
Thanks for anyone who has read this far.
