I will though we will continue to fish with the Pole Dancer, Pole Dancer II is in the works. She is a 1985 Wilker Weekender. As a $100 project boat, she’s already getting outfitted with 4 Big Jon downriggers and a fresh low hour V6. We’re currently looking for a used gps graph and ball speed indicator if anyone has an extra kicking around.

Now is the time for a little bit of maintenance, as we should be in the water soon enough.

You don’t need to spend a ton of money to get on the water and catch big fish. This is the before and after of the Pole Dancer. Purchased for the storage bill owing against it, this 1987 Wilker Galaxy was on the water for under $2000, and fully outfitted to troll salmon for another $3000.

We’d like to take a moment and address something. Jen and I created this page so others can enjoy our fishing adventures. We do not, will not, and cannot legally offer charters or guiding services. If you’re looking for those services, we’d be happy to recommend one of our friends in the sportfishing industry. What we will do is post pictures, videos and information as we along with our family and friends, take part in recreational sportfishing here in Ontario.
