Registration remains open for the inaugural FIDE World Amateur Rapid & Blitz Championships, taking place in Abuja, Nigeria, from August 1–8, 2026.

Open to players rated under 2300, with Open and Women’s sections across multiple rating categories. The registration and visa invitation letter deadline is June 30.
