At Boulton Hockey Skating Schools our goal is to maximize the value of the ice time available. We believe no player should be left behind, but we also believe no player should be held back. Therefore our program is designed to expose everyone to the same information and provide them the environment to perform each skill at a pace most beneficial to them as an individual. No one waits in line, ever
yone is moving, and everyone has the time and space they require to perform the technical movements. Our program focuses on mastering the styles and learning body control from head to toe during each skating motion at slow speed. This control will lead to much more efficient skating technique allowing the player to create more power with each push. The player will NOT learn to do each skill at speed, but rather will learn each skill in a manner which will inevitably cause a player to create their own speed. Also, in the game of hockey a player is constantly moving at different speeds and constantly changing directions, with and without the puck. Our program is different in that it also focuses on mastering control during motions specifically to prepare a player to be ready to switch motions at all times. Finally, we demonstrate how efficient body position without the puck transitions into efficient body position with the puck allowing your player to learn how to maximize and maintain power, speed, and control in every game situation.
