YOUTH EXPO

With the ongoing restrictions limiting activities in our province, the Youth Expo remains cancelled for 2021. As we maneuver through this changing world, it's apparent restrictions and new safe practices due to COVID may become part of our everyday life. We feel organizing an event as complex as the Youth Expo will prove difficult in implementing new protocols and ensuring the safety of our community. It was a difficult decision, but the Women That Hunt will no longer be hosting the Youth Expo moving forward.

We cannot thank everyone enough for their support, commitment and participation. You are the ones who made this event the great success it was. Our hope is to collaborate in a new way, ensuring the same positive outcomes.

In light of the COVID-19 outbreak and the uncertainty of its future we have decided to cancel the Youth Expo scheduled for May 9th 2020.
Public safety is our main priority, and as organizers we have a fiduciary responsibility to our shareholders.
Thank you to our corporate sponsors, small businesses and endless volunteers who make this event such a great success.

Sponsorship, door prizes and registration fees received to date will be returned.

As an exhibitor you are responsible for making your booth as interactive as possible.
👉You have an opportunity to showcase your organization with little to no cost. Increase participation, expand your audience.
👉Be interactive with your audience. Provide an opportunity to try, taste, learn, discover, explore something new.
👉Become a resource that can assist to improve the health of individuals and communities across Nova Scotia.

🎉Exhibitors are required to provide a door prize (value no less than $25.00) along with a small registration fee.
☑️Registration Fee $50.00
- Door prizes are used to raise money to support the event and provide a chance for someone to take something home of interest, supporting a new idea or hobby.

📲Once registration is complete an administrator will be in contact to review insurance options and liability coverage.

🔌Resources available will be provided on a first come, first serve basis (power, chairs, tables, walls etc.)

WHAT IS THE YOUTH EXPO?
The Youth Expo is a unique event designed to expose individuals to new ideas.

New ideas, create new relationships, resources and activities resulting in positive outcomes that can directly improve a persons health and wellness.

The Expo is designed to be interactive, guided by professionals and experts in various fields in an effort to educate and inspire.
To date 356 exhibitors have inspired 12,010 individuals

The Youth Expo is built to encompass as many ideas as possible where individuals can walk away better informed, more knowledgeable and connected to resources that will allow them to pursue new activities, attend or join community programs or groups and/or start a new hobby, either on their own or in their community.

Health is not merely the absence of illness.
There are a number of factors in life that can have an impact on our mental health. Loneliness, Isolation, Grief, Loss, Violence, Bullying, Unemployment, Sexuality, Diet, Staying indoors, Stages of life, life events and more.

The Youth Expo is the STARTING LINE towards improving the lives of others.
