There is at this point, no tire rule change in place. We are doing research about future possibilities for kart racing in Ontario and available tires on the market.

There has been no notice given by the track that a tire rule change will be in place at this time. Discussions have happened about possibly making changes in the future. At this time the rules have not changed.

We kick off our season Thursday, May 28th. Based on the registrations, volume of participants, plates and experience, we have broken out the following list of drivers.

This is entirely subject to change and with that in mind, May 28th will be a NON point event.

Hey everyone as that time of the year is approaching we are all getting pumped up and ready to see those karts hit the track!!!

The track crew has been hard at work to get the surface even better for this year!

I have received a few messages and emails from concerned parents about numbers in classes and about what the possibilities are. I understand everyone’s concerns but speculations and circulating rumours is not the way to go about spreading information.

As a group we try our best to accommodate everyone in every class and making decisions on classes based on car counts is very difficult to do at this point in time as we have many people claiming they will be there but are yet to register. I can only make decisions about divisions and the best way to run them once I have been given enough information to make an informed decision.

For example I have in particular had questions about the pro clones. At last I checked only 1 kart had been registered. As you can imagine it is hard for me to predict what to do with the class if not everyone pre registers. We will ensure that everyone who registers gets to race but the best way for me to make a decision is if everyone pre registers.

Every year we have a line up of people at Karen’s booth registering karts and this makes it difficult for me to preemptively release kart counts and class divisions.

I hope this helps clear some things up for everyone!

Make sure to get those registrations in and I can’t wait to see everyone on test night!!!

Hello everybody we know there have been lots of rumors flying around about the 2026 go kart season and I would like to clarify some things going forward. We have made the decision to go forward and continue our efforts to move to clone motor racing. During the 2026 season we will permit the clone motors to run with the flatheads and going forward into 2027 we will be phasing flat heads out completely. We are giving this year as a buffer to help people make the transition. We will be running a trial basis this year in attempt to keep the racing competitive and will be making rule and weight adjustments to individual classes as we move forward throughout the season. I will make another post closer to the start of the season about the brake down of classes.
