We have received a number of requests regarding development team placements. After careful consideration, all teams will remain as originally assigned at this time.

Our goal is to create balanced teams that provide the best possible development experience for all players. Team selections were made thoughtfully by our coaching and evaluation staff, and changes cannot currently be accommodated.

Once the season begins and we have a better understanding of actual player attendance and roster numbers, there may be opportunities to make adjustments if needed. Any changes would be made with the overall balance and success of the program in mind.

Thank you for your understanding and support. We are looking forward to a great season and seeing all of our players grow and succeed.

⚾ A Reminder from Bridgewater Baseball Association ⚾

As our season gets underway, we'd like to remind everyone that youth baseball is built on the dedication of volunteers.

Every coach you see on the field is a volunteer.

Every executive member working behind the scenes is a volunteer.

Every team manager, scorekeeper, and field helper is a volunteer.

And every umpire working our younger divisions is a child who is learning, developing, and doing their best to support the game.

Please remember that baseball is a game for our players. Respectful behavior from parents, coaches, players, and spectators helps create a positive experience for everyone involved. Only respectful behaviour will be tolerated.

If you have concerns about a game, coach, umpire, or situation, we encourage you to take some time before reacting. A good rule is to wait 24 hours and then contact your manager or a member of the BBA Executive to discuss your concerns respectfully.

Bridgewater Baseball Association is stronger because of the people who give their time to support our athletes. If you'd like to help make the game even better, we always welcome new volunteers.

A huge congratulations goes to Parker Mackenzie and Kaleb Merry who have made NS 17U team. This is an amazing accomplishment for both of these boys. An extra shout out goes to Kaleb Merry, who is playing up and is representing Nova Scotia on both the 15 U team and the 17U team!! What an accomplishment!!

BBA is looking to fill two part time student summer positions. The job wouldn’t entail helping full-time summer staff run our development program
* Assist with Youth Baseball Programming: Help organize and lead baseball skill development sessions, drills for players of various ages and skill levels while promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
* Support Field and Equipment Operations: Assist with setting up and taking down equipment, maintaining baseball fields and facilities, and ensuring all equipment is organized, safe, and ready for use.
